Delivery Policies (Informtion for artists)
This Delivery Policy explains your delivery obligations as a Seller/Artist.
1. Delivery of Your Artworks
Sellers/Artists are responsible for the delivery of their sold artworks to buyers. If you're using a delivery or fulfilment service, please keep in mind that you are ultimately responsible for making sure that your buyers receive the artwork(s) they purchased from your gallery.
By selling on ARTOVERT, you agree to:
A Provide an accurate "ships from" address.
B. Specify your delivery costs and processing times in your listings.
C. Ship artworks promptly after they are sold. Prompt delivery means that you ship each artwork within 14 days of purchase, unless you specify otherwise in your processing time or agree to a different delivery period with the buyer through Chats.
D. Comply with all local and international delivery and customs regulations.
E. Delivery to the wrong address is likely to result in a non-delivery case, so make sure to ship to the address listed on the ARTOVERT receipt or sent to you by the buyer through an ARTOVERT Chats.
F. Mark the order as shipped when you ship it. Remember that you may only mark an order as shipped after you actually have shipped it. When you mark an order as shipped, the buyer will receive an ARTOVERT Delivery Notification and be expecting artwork to arrive as specified.
G. Charge an appropriate amount for delivery.
By entering tracking information on ARTOVERT, you're giving us permission to collect and share the tracking information received from your chosen delivery carrier with the buyer.
In the event that an order does not arrive, be prepared to provide valid proof of delivery. Valid proof of delivery must show that the artwork actually was shipped and that it was sent to the address provided by the buyer. If a buyer does not receive their order, they may file a case against your gallery.
Insuring artwork in transit
You are responsible for artwork arriving in perfect order with the end customer. If an artwork arrives damaged then it will be returned and the sale cancelled without payment – so we highly recommend that you insure your artwork whilst in transit and take great care with packaging.
