Degree: BA (Hons) Painting
University: Edinburgh College Of Art
Graduation Year: 2015
More About MeHello my name is Natasha Kemp and I am an artist living and working in Fife, Scotland. I recently graduated from Edinburgh College of Art, where I studied painting for three years. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and made use of lots of the facilities and opportunities to be involved with cross disciplines, allowing myself to explore my themes thoroughly with other materials than just paint.
I am currently working from my studio in the new Fire Station Creative in Dunfermline, where I share a studio with two other artists. The building has a great atmosphere and I really enjoy working from there. I have been currently working on local landscape paintings and have been enjoying the relaxing atmosphere post grad studio life has to offer. I have also started running small painting classes from the studio and really enjoying this side of being an artist, sharing what I have learned over so many years of practice.
I find inspiration almost anywhere, out in the local landscapes, round the street corner, on the ground discarded, in my home, making the possibilities endless and the ideas for work never ending.
