More About MeI am constantly challenging myself as an artist as i believe my practice is constantly about searching, progressing and developing. I am asking questions in the realms of painting, were process become deductive and analyzed to revealed the concept of the Hidden. devised by the Greeks it allows me to unearth through psychological intrigue a preconceived notion of an existing object within the paintings. which is inspired by the works of Bacon and De Kooning. painting through Energy and risk this then allows myself totally unrestricted creativity to allow the evolved object itself to become unhidden. Then to reveal the narrative by which it is ambiguous enough for the audience to partly relate to the object. The Objects are attachments to my visual presentation of everyday culture. From Reports science fiction object to colour schemes found in a Studio Ghibli film. My purpose is to put the fun back in the image beyond the concept of formulaic principles. Like a puzzle. I have recently finished my education with a masters in fine art at Edinburgh university where the works of Chris Batemen and science fiction worlds played dominance.
