What kind of footwear is required?
The KAT Walk C2+ requires specialized roller shoes with sensors, while the KAT Pro Walk Mecha allows users to use their own shoes with highly precise tracking.
What VR headsets are compatible with the treadmill?
The KATVR Treadmill supports most major VR headsets, including Meta Quest, and PC VR setups like HTC Vive or Valve Index. Also, KATVR supports Window and Meta Horizon operating system.
Is there an age or height restriction for using the KATVR Treadmill?
Yes, participants should be at least 8 years old and meet the minimum height of 140 cm for safety reasons. Participants between 120 to 140cm requires additional equipment to use the VR treadmill.
How long can participants use the treadmill during an event?
Sessions are usually limited to 5-10 minutes per participant to ensure everyone gets a turn and to prevent fatigue. Session timing can be adjusted to suit client’s requirement.
What games are available for VR gaming events?
The game content varys based on the main event package chosen.
May I book the KATVR package for my own VR device?
Yes, however there would be additional service and equipment charge for system set up and pairing with your VR device. Please message us to find out more.
How much space is required?
To ensure safe and comfortable gameplay, a minimum of 1.5 x 1.5 meters of clear space per device is recommended. Additionally, a gap of at least 1 meter should be maintained between adjacent KATVR devices.
